  • 05/02/2024 – 10/04/2024, Community based forests fire management, The project was designed to equip local communities in the Kigoma and Katavi regions with knowledge on fire management, enabling them to prevent and manage fires in both protected and unprotected areas surrounding them. Funded by the Nature Conservancy through the TUUNGANE project and executed by Ecogency Africa in collaboration with district officials from Uvinza and Mpanda.

  • 03/10/2022, Erasmus plus exchange program – Erasmus Mundus, I was awarded an exchange scholarship to the University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy. I joined the Biotechnology and Bioscience Laboratory, where I gained valuable experience in DNA metabarcoding and the biochemical analysis of bee products.
  • October 15, 2021, best student with excellent score - Inter-university exchange project (compulsory intensive course) – Utsunomiya University. The compulsory intensive course was prepared by Utsunomiya University and African universities. The course, conducted from September 6 to 24, 2021, aimed to develop human resources to contribute to sustainable development goals (SDGs) by merging African potentials and Japanese scientific technology
  • 15/10/2019, best student beekeeping class of 2019 – University of Dar es Salaam, I was recognized as the top student in the beekeeping class of 2019
  • 20/12/2018, best upcoming leader of the year (FISA awards) – Lambokile Consultancy Company, the Future I Want Awards (FISA) competition 2018, involved youths from various fields across Tanzania The awards were designed to recognize individuals with diverse talents, and bring them together to promote sustainable development

It was found that both the time of year and the specific plants from which bees forage play a significant role in determining the antimicrobial properties of honey.
