Student
University of Dar es salaam
Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam Region
- I'm a BSc with geology student with key courses relevant to geotechnical studies, environmental geology, or engineering geology (mineralogy, hydrology, GIS, remote sensing)
- As a Geology student at the University of Dar es Salaam, I have gained hands-on experience in geological mapping, mineral identification, and soil analysis through fieldwork in Chimala, Mbeya and Nzega, Tabora for my 1st and 2nd year respectively. I also conducted training activities where I used GIS and remote sensing tools to analyze specific geological features. This experience strengthened my ability to collect and interpret geological data-skills I believe are valuable for infrastructure and environmental projects at Norplan.
- I am proficient in GIS applications for spatial analysis and have experience preparing technical reports. My fieldwork has also honed my teamwork and problem-solving skills, as I often collaborated with peers to collect and analyze geological samples under challenging conditions.
- I am highly motivated to apply my geological knowledge in real-world engineering projects. I am a quick learner, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to Norplan's work in sustainable infrastructure development.
- I am particularly interested in Norplan's work in Geotechnical and Materials Testing Engineering Division and Oil and Gas Engineering Division, as it aligns with my passion for geology and geotechnical engineering. I am excited about the opportunity to learn from industry experts and contribute to impactful projects.
