  • Coordinated with cross-functional specialists, ecological experts and engineers to improve structural sustainability and design.

  • Through computer aided programs like AutoCAD, Sketchup and ArchiCad I provided conceptual designs and construction details for development of projects.


Architectural Intern - Design X Build Workshop

  • Conducted research through series of field trips, interviews, architectural ethnographic drawings, community meetings to converge local building ideas and techniques.
  • Assisted in designing and building of Storytelling space exhibition installation for photographic exhibition in several local spaces in Macassar. Designed and built timber structures, installed steel base plates, built walls, made doors, gates, and fences, with assistance from local community members. Materials used in refurbishment were recycled from previous year’s exhibitions installations while new timber was used to make roof.

Together with UCT and CPUT, Cape Town, and in cooperation with RWTH University and PBSA /HS Dusseldorf, project aimed to imagine contemporary cultural space in underserved community by connecting locally made spaces through storytelling practices.
  • Participated in engagement activities like workshops, meal sharing, and storytelling events to identify, design, and construct storytelling space with broader community of Macassar
