Develop national PMTCT Operational framework/strategy and implementation guidelines, aligned to MOH policy and collaboration with the MoH, USAID & interagency TWG.

Lead in the development of programme standards & training curriculum on the Tanzania PMTCT Operational framework/strategy (job aides, client management tools).

Oversee and monitor implementation of a joint workplan with implementing partners, including profiling, joint assessment and improvement plan.

Conduct implementing partner capacity assessments, identify institutional strengthening needs and develop individualized capacity development plans

Provide capacity development support to the MOH and IPs through direct assistance, including one-on-one TA, mentoring, and development or adaptation of tools/job-aids.

• Managed operational research work packages for the University of Amsterdam (UvA): epidemiological, economic & anthropological studies, and support implementation of PhD roadmaps.
• Formed and managed strategic partnerships with NIMR, COSTECH, BMC, and MOH for effective management of Clinical Epidemiological, Social and Economic Costing Studies of the University of Amsterdam.
• Designed M&E systems for qualitative and quantitative data collection, analyses and reporting.

Strengthened strategic information, M&E, improvement systems and reporting to USAID for comprehensive HIV services among police and prison health facilities in Tanzania.

Documented lessons, best practices and success stories from improved models of HIV testing, ART initiation and viral suppression; and lessons from TB, PMTCT, RMNCAH including SRHR services.

Established sustained collaboration between police and prison health facilities, CHMT and MSD for continuous capacity building and improved Supply Chain Systems for comprehensive HIV/AIDS and TB services.

Strengthened QI/QA capacity of the Ministry of Health towards:

• Sustainable coverage, retention and clinical outcomes for adults and pediatrics patients on ART in Shinyanga and Simiyu regions
