ACHIEVEMENTS:

  • Worked with the public and private sector to facilitate funding of thousands of practitioners at different stages of agriculture value chains through various financial instruments and facilities.
  • Provision of technical assistance in improving a number of agriculture finance products of different financial institutions.
  • Through PPP, facilitated the funding of the first Commodity Exchange in the country
  • Coordinated three major national surveys in finance, with relevance in Agribusiness finance; including AgFims - the national survey on demand and supply of financial services in Tanzania (first of its kind in Africa).
  • Coordinated and managed portfolio valued at more than US$ 55 million – mostly in agriculture and rural sector.
