A dynamic Community Engagement professional with a strong passion and dedicated to public health and life-saving interventions, with 6 years experience working on HIV/AIDS life-saving/prevention projects at community level and facilitating access to HIV testing, linkage to care, and retention in treatment services. Holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from St. Augustine University of Tanzania Mwanza alongside numerous professionals trainings youth at risk facilitated by Government facilitators ,training on HIV Self Test Oral facilitated by National AIDS Control and Blood-based facilitated by RASHCCO and CBHSCO ,Skilled in stakeholder engagement, health education, advocacy, and understanding of the socio-cultural dynamics affecting HIV/AIDS awareness and care. Since 2022, I have been serving as Community Engagement Officer in EpiC project supporting the implementation of community mobilization activities reaching Adult male and female at risk according to EpiC and National guidelines in contribution to 95-95-95 UNAID goals and other Government Stakeholders. I am now looking for a challenging role in public health or other development projects where I can apply my expertise to help an organization succeed. Experienced with community outreach and engagement strategies, fostering strong connections between organizations and their communities. Utilizes effective communication and event planning to drive community participation and support. Knowledge of collaborative approaches and problem-solving techniques to meet evolving community needs.

  • Coordinate and support Community mobilizers to implement and monitor the timely implementation of life saving community mobilization activities.
  • To build capacity of Community mobilizers to ensure the proper implementation of community mobile outreaches, Going online activities eg;EPOA, Online reservations and linkage to biomedical services.
  • Support and facilitate the management of all positive recipients of care by working close with CBHS in conjunction with health facility.
  • Support and facilitate Community Mobilizers to develop weekly based outreaches work plans to guide effective roll out of joint demand creation activities for biomedical services.
  • Work close with districts government stakeholders CHMTs eg; CBHSco ,CHACC to facilitate Community Mobilizers trainings/orientations and establishing effective collaboration with CHMTs and other implementing partners on community activities

  • Coordinate implementation of community HIV/AIDS prevention intervention through SBCC Sessions to key vulnerable populations(KVP’s) based on Adolescent Girls and Young Women,Female sex workers,Men at risk and other priority population.
  • Conduct Supportive Supervision and providing onsite capacity building to PE,PM and PN, visiting service delivery points, such as mobile biomedical services points, SBCC groups education and demand creation sites and coordinating hotspot mapping activities.
  • Managing the provision of preventive interventions including condom distribution, HIVST, PrEP and Risk reduction SBCC sessions.
  • Coordinating and Facilitating SBCC training/orientation for peer educators
  • Supervising peer navigators in case management by tracking all cases in to retention and proper provision of community ART.
  • Conduct consultative meetings with Peer educators to address specific SBCC service delivery and program bottlenecks, to improve the promotion of family planning and HIV/ AIDS risk reduction methods among them.
  • Establish effective work relationships with other CSOs, CBOs, FBOs, and CHMT & RHMT and other implementing partners on program activities.
