  • I have worked successfully with diverse teams of professionals in eyecare from all around the world and Africa in particular to accomplish KCCO goals for ending avoidable blindness through addressing issues related to eyecare programme Management Challenges in Africa.
  • I work as an assistant to KCCO Tanzania Director
  • I assist in conducting needs assessments and situational analysis for VISION 2020 programmes,
  • I work with national and regional level MoH authorities in Tanzania, Uganda, Benin Ethiopia, and Madagascar to ensure that the plans being developed and implemented are grounded in government in the mentioned program areas,
  • I work with partners (NGOs, service groups, others) at the national and regional level to ensure that eyecare plans are adequately resourced in all the programmes in countries mentioned above
  • I train V2020 programme managers and provide follow up skills development, support, and troubleshooting in the programme implementation,
  • I amange a team of 18 programme managers from all the countries mentioned above to set up management systems and ensure that reporting is carried out in a timely and accurate fashion,
  • I prepare summary programme progress reports for donors and other stakeholders from all the 18 regions supported in the countries mentioned above,
  • I assist the ophthalmologist and programme managers fr om all the countries where KCCO works in preparing annual reports that they can use for demonstrating their progress and identifying resources for future work
  • I represent KCCO in Local international Conferences by making presentations to showcase the impact of the KCCO work to the world, particularly those interested in eyecare
  • I work as a faculty member for the KCCO Management and Bridging Strategies courses run by KCCO every year
