Paschal Njiko

Multifaceted and result oriented Senior Geologist currently working with Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) with over 15 years of experience of which 12 years in oil and gas sector with respect to technical aspects of upstream oil and gas business, contracts management, technical audit and project planning and execution. Prior working with TPDC, I worked for Barrick (Bulyanhulu gold mine), Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MoE) and Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST) as Geologist.

I have worked in various areas of geology and geophysics including gravity, magnetic and satellite data interpretation, seismic data interpretation, basin modelling, surface and subsurface geological mapping, well/borehole formations evaluation, static and dynamic modelling, volumetric calculation, resource assessment and projects management.

I have leadership and change management skills, project implementation skills and budgeting skills. I have Vast and extensive knowledge of data collection and analysis techniques to identify potential impacts and outcomes from different strategies.

I am a highly motivated individual; communicator recognized for ability to establish and maintain effective working across function team and diverse individuals at any level. I have demonstrated ability to confidently lead diverse team in all aspect of Project implementation with exceptional results. • Review and conduct Economic and financial Evaluation of thirteen (13) Production Sharing Agreements (PSA’s) in Tanzania
• Participate as a technical team member for Tanzania LNG project Government negotiation Team (GNT)
• Technical and Economic Evaluation of West Songo Songo, Mnazi bay North and Eyasi Wembere projects
• Publication of Geological maps and Report of QDS 74, 74W, 155 and 156
• Successful completion of TPDC MP10 drilling project in Tanga and drilling of shallow stratigraphic boreholes project in Eyasi Wembere
• Successful participate in the drilling of Likonde, Kianika, Pweza, Chewa, Chaza and Jodari exploration wells
• Successful conduction of field work in all sedimentary basins of Tanzania
