· Provide trainings on proposal writings to 54 Agricultural Market Cooperative Society (AMCOS) to the 3 mentioned regions

· Provide Project Cycle Management (PCM) training to grantees (cooperative representatives)

· Ensure that projects are designed with agricultural technology package aimed at creating self-sufficiency, as well as enhancing the food security status of farmers’ households/local communities

· Ensure that baseline data on existing farming systems and water management techniques and income generating activities is updated for use in assessing the impact of the project interventions.

· Working closely with the Programs Manager to ensure that program and Finance, donor reports are prepared in a timely fashion for submission to donors and other.

· I Conducted a research project (Innovating the horticultural value chain in Tanzania) to provide overall technical assistance to help 1,000 smallholder farmers to advance the work through periodic visits to observe advice, recruit, mentor and monitor field-based production activities. Eg. I provided counseling and advisory services to farmers on implementing new technology and practice, crop rotation, cultivation and harvesting, in Morogoro region.

· Conducts market research and associated studies about market projections, trends, and conditions relative to prices and other market factors in order to determine market potentials and improve marketing prospects for agricultural commodities (including grain crops, livestock, fruits, vegetables, etc.)

· Facilitating the registration of the Farmers groups based on the purpose to increase bargaining power and unit. Eg. Horticultural farmers group or AMCOS, then I prepared business proposal, identifying potential financial institutions (Microfinances) with good terms of providing loans to these farmers group.

· Provides technical assistance and advice to farm organizations, commodity groups, growers, buyers, and others in order to develop program operations or resolve problems associated with farmers market programs, electronic marketing, or grain and livestock marketing systems.

· Provide assistance and expertise implementing programs to improve agricultural productivity, agribusiness development, regional and/or international trade of agricultural products as well as to improve competitiveness of agriculture-related industries and value chains.

· Researches and assembles data in order to support planning, organizing, and development activities associated with new or existing marketing systems.

· Educate farmers and agriculture business owners on diseases and pest control and complying with environmental pollution-control laws and regulations.

· Supporting the Project Manager towards the development and design of annual work plan activities and management and oversight of activities implementation.

· Work closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Unit to conceptualize, design and successfully implement project intervention to achieve contract results.

· Promote leadership on improved technologies and adaptations required to meet smallholder needs and increase uptake by integrating findings into papers and articles, participating in industry events, and delivering presentations. · Carry out value chain analysis and research to generate evidence including preparation of policy briefs, facts sheets and case studies for advocacy interventions

· Strengthened farmer groups with knowledge on collective decision making and market searching paving doors to quality production and income generation among farmers.

· Facilitate dialogues between small holder farmers, Cooperatives and decision makers at district, regional and national level;

· I provided technical expertise and manage technical staff working in areas such as agribusiness, enhanced agricultural production, post-harvest handling, storage, and processing, improved food safety and security, improved market linkages, business development, new product marketing and branding and regional trade facilitation and capacity building of project partners and grantees;

· I supported the implementation policy of “Mali Mbichi” project through collaboration with respective government department in assisting the farmers in developing their capacity on fertilizers usage along with complementary measures such as emphasize improved agronomic practices to maximize the effect of fertilizers for improving productivity.

· I trained 30 farmers for each month to improve their agricultural products use of media as tools for lobbying and advocacy to inform the public on challenges faced by farmers and the actions taken by the leaders
