A beautiful six beachfront villa hotel situated at the scenic paje beach in Zanzibar, my employment was cut short due to internal partners.

My journey with The Slipway Hotel began just after Pro Covid era, where restaurants were struggling to survive.

I was given the challenge to revive The prestigious restaurant The Waterfront.

Within my first three months, i doubled the sales of the restaurant by introducing a more advanced guest preferred menu, maintaining food quality and keeping a eye on the food cost and profitability.

By my first year completion, the sales of The Waterfront had jumped 110% from where i took over, thus i was given more responsibility and promoted as General Manager, Restaurant and Conferences.

In my tenure with Peace Group of Hotels that lasted three years, as a Management Team we focused on improving guest experiences, by launching leisure places, more advanced modernized conference spaces, introducing global cuisine in our restaurants, upgrading guests rooms with pillow menu, mood lights, ayurvedic bed mattresses, We also build up the first beach resort in Mogadishu, Somalia.

• Fully responsible for all aspects of Food and Beverage departments and overall management of the operation of the group hotels
• Supporting and working with all Head of Departments in all aspects of running 5 hotels in Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Burundi

• Direct the Operations of The Group Hotels consisting of 11 Hotels and Resorts Based In Tanzania-East Africa.
• Prepare Budget, Maintain Cost and Expense, Deliver Profitability and Overall Maintain Clientele Satisfaction and Ensure Retention of Guest.

• As Director of Catering, I created and maintain menus that satisfy guests of Daily 7000 meals. I was responsible for managing food costs, upholding menu standards, and controlling inventory. Also to create event-specific menus for occasions such as banquets, conventions, and catered meetings.
• In addition to menu maintenance and event management, I was involved with all of full-service Executive Residence Apartments' day-to-day functions, including sta management, guest interactions, administration duties, vendor communications, and labor costs

• Controlled activities of coffee shop, lounges, Formal and Casual dining restaurant, Sports bar, Arabian Restaurant, Convention and outdoor catering. Managed sales, marketing, business development, strategic planning, finance and resource administration
• Redesigned Rooftop Restaurant and increasing sales by 63% annually brought down cost to 28% from 36% by management of procurement, rigorous financial controls and System Policies Revitalized the menu with financial visibility in mind Conceived and introduced Wines of the world

• Directed a team of 60 in daily operations, Controlled activities of The Coffee shop, Open air Italian Lounge restaurant, fine dining Continental restaurant, Indian restaurant, live Barbecue outlet, Room services and indoor/outdoor banquet facilities

• Started my career with Ritz Carlton Hotels as Trainee Management after passing internship from Mina Oberoi in Egypt, with Ritz in 5 years I got promoted to Muscat from Dubai as Associate Manager.
