EACOP Project - Third-Party Inspector

• Prepare Verification & Certification Activity Reports (VCARs) for mechanical-related works, including pipelines, pumps, compressors, valves, and storage tanks, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and industry regulations (e.g., ASME B31.4, API 650, ASME IX).
• Lead audits and inspections of mechanical installations (pipelines, pumps, storage tanks, etc.) and Qualification Activities (PPT & PQT) for pipe coating, insulation, and welding. Verify compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory codes. Identify non-conformities and collaborate with the team to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Communicate audit findings to relevant stakeholders, including Quality Control (QC) teams, contractors, and project engineers. Highlight areas for improvement and provide recommendations to ensure alignment with project standards and regulations.
• Write detailed inspection reports documenting audit findings, non-conformities, corrective actions, and compliance status. Ensure clarity and accuracy in reporting to support decision-making and mitigate project risks.

Additional Responsibilities (Office Hours):

• Assist with non-destructive testing (NDT) on mechanical components (UT, PT, VT) to ensure the integrity of welds, pipes, and structural components. Support qualified NDT inspectors in conducting tests and documenting results.
• Assist with inspections of lifting equipment and accessories (e.g., shackles, slings, ropes, belts) for safety compliance, ensuring they meet regulatory standards such as OSHA and internal safety guidelines.

Industry: Manufacturing

• Developed and implemented preventive maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance of machinery
• Troubleshot and resolved issues with electrical and mechanical components, minimizing downtime
• Oversaw the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Create and monitor purchase orders for equipment and spare parts and follow up to guarantee timely delivery of parts, maintaining plant productivity
