  • As a Technical Lead, signatory and Donor Representative for a 4-year programme funded by the Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC) now known as Enabel with a total budget of €4.8 million and human resources comprised of District Facilitation Team with 24 district staff and 3 employed project staff. The project contributed to support farmers’ engagement in Horticultural production among other IGA intervention for the poor households’ economic growth particularly for HIV/AIDS affected families and MVCs;
  • I played an advisory support and management oversight role in the programme activity and financial management, control procedures, systems and realignment with wider programme policies and guidelines for high quality implementation;
  • Supported Districts effective and efficient implementation of the project with significant increase in ‘Natural Resources Conservation Contribution to Improved Livelihood in the Kilombero Valley’ through: -
  • Undertaking Land Use Planning for land-use conflicts resolutions
  • Establishment of natural resource-based income generating activities at village and household level, mainly beekeeping, forestry, agriculture -horticultural crops and fisheries
  • Local organizations development and institutional strengthening; and
  • Improving the District Councils’ efficiency in implement the Integrated Management Plan
  • Developed and implemented capacity building plans and strategies for the full integration of the project activities into the Districts Administration (Planning, financial accounting, internal audit, procurement systems etc.);

  • Conducted staff capacity development including coaching and mentoring; Coordinated a review and appraisal of more than 700 CSOs proposals out of 330 CSOs granted financial support for various HIV/AIDS interventions in Singida and Dodoma regions; Developed financial policy for financial management and control; established M & E system together with Management Information System (MIS) to ensure both physical and fiscal monitoring and evaluation of grants utilization by 330 CSOs grants;
  • Conducted Training Needs Assessment and technical capacity building of Region Secretariats, Local Government Authorities, CSOs and other interest groups;
  • Developed, reviewed and approved all program documents, including financial documents, consultancy TORs and MoU/Contracts for partnership agreements;
