We established a peer patrol system, where students would volunteer to assist in monitoring common areas and ensuring that their fellow students felt safe.
Additionally, I collaborated with college administration to enhance lighting in poorly lit areas and to install surveillance cameras in key locations. These measures not only acted as deterrents to potential theft but also provided students with a greater sense of security.
As a result of these concerted efforts, the college experienced a significant reduction in theft incidents, leading to a more positive and secure learning environment for all students. This initiative demonstrated the effectiveness of community engagement in enhancing campus safety and fostering a culture of vigilance and support.
