TB Focal Person, with following duties

• TB screening to patients attending our facility per day, with collaboration of DOT nurses.
• Investigations to all presumptive cases of TB, and immediate initiation of Anti-TBs to all patients with positive results.
• Ensure increase in number of TB notification to both adults and pediatrics population, by placing screening tools and sample collection tools to the entry points.
• Continous education and reminder to other team members on screening at the antenatal clinic, post natal clinics, CTC, and OPD.
• Monthly evaluation and recording data for TB notification at at the respective clinics.
• Monitoring patients on anti TBs for adverse effects of medications, progress together with counselling to screen for HIV.
• Collaborating with CTC officer in charge, to screen al HIV patients for TB and other opportunistic infections.
• Sending monthly report to the DTLC, discussing challenges and improvement.
• Attending quarterly meetings with the RHMT, for statistical evaluation and performance per quarter regional wise and individual facility.
