  • As FtMA market support specialist and ag. Country Coordinator, was able to draft the FtMA business plan 2024-2028 and secured funding from New Zealand and Norad of USD 15million from previous funding of USD 3 million.
  • Increased the outreach of smallholder farmers from 20,000 households to 150,000+ households and 192 Farmer Service Centres (FSCs) to 495 FSCs over a period
    of 3 years, thus being supported on business capacity building initiatives, access to affordable finance, markets, inputs, CSA technologies, PHHS and GAP knowledge.
  • Manage public and private partnerships in the Markets, Logistics, Post-Harvest Handling, Storage were more than 10 MoU`s, and 6 Letter of Intent to collaborate signed.
  • Lead in designing and refining scalable, sustainable farmer organizations capacity strengthening approaches and strategies were 7 strategies developed including access to finance, CSA, digital, PHHS etc.
  • Support the identification and targeting of 230 farmer organizations and more than 30 farmer-friendly aggregators through vetting, and due diligence process
  • Based on farmer data analysis, identify opportunities to build pro-smallholder staple value chains through partnerships with other key value chain stakeholders
  • Manage farmer training on good agronomic practices, post-harvest handling, finance, logistics delivery planning
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer by instituting and leveraging the lead farmer structure within the supported farmer organizations
  • Managed two FtMA implementing partners from contracting FLA, program implementation and project close out and was able to transform their performance from unsatisfactory to satisfactory.
  • Provide high quality project management support for FtMA interventions, ensuring a coordinated approach with wider smallholder support programmes and compliance with WFP standard policies and procedure.
  • Simultaneously managed various projects, such as Rabobank fiannce maturity tool, Viamo , Mazao Hub, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet project goals.
