-Calculate shipping Rates.

-Prepare Booking and put into kenya airways system(nGen).

-Provide Flight schedules to GHA and clients.

-Tracking Cargo.

-Generating Invoice to clients once we received cargo for export.

-To ensure cargo acceptance and follow IATA procedures.

-Prepare Import cargo manifest and put into Revenue Authority system(TANCIS).

-To check correctness of the AWB (Airway bill) against label attached on the cargo.

-Enter shipping information into a computer and put into accepted system (Cargo spot). -Responsible for managing operational efficiencies.

-Comply with Emirates Sky Cargo standard operating procedures (SOPs).

-Perform daily inventories of ULD.

-Ensure all booking of shipments manifested exported passes all IATA procedures, customs and other ministries.

-Performs daily reporting.

-Follow loading plan according to Emirates Sky cargo and supervise the proper stowage of Cargo on board ensuring the safety of all cargo manifested.

-To check and record temperatures and Co2 concentrations in refrigerated Cargo spaces.

-Receive and prepare items to be shipped, obtaining their dimensions and helping customers/Agents to select good packaging.

-Reviewing Export & Import Cargo Documents.

-Manifest All Shipments Accepted.

-Handle General Cargo, DG Cargo, Perishable Cargo, VAL Cargo & Postal Mail Bags at point of Origin.

-Handling Of Incoming and Outgoing Cargo and Verifies that the import and Export Documents Meet Standards.

-Check Incoming Cargo against the Cargo Manifesting.

-Reviewing Export & Import Cargo Documents.

-Manifest All Shipments Accepted.

-Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory and keep quality standards high for audits.

-Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

-Report any Discrepancies.

-Comply with IATA regulations, government laws and Swissport Group companies policies while ensuring quality services to the clients.

-Loading and unloading Aircraft Cargo.

-Placing chocks and cones around Aircraft.

-Providing special handling of baggage, cargo and mail as required.

-Collecting, loading and unloading live animals and Dangerous goods on and off Aircraft, when necessary.

-Operating ground support equipment, including Aircraft service trucks, cargo dollies.

-Reporting all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor / manager.

-Design and Implement overall recruiting strategy.

-Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications. -Source and recruit candidates by using database, social media etc.

-Assess applicant’s relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
