Project Name: Tanzania Cities Transformation Infrastructure and Competitiveness (TACTIC), Package 1 - Upgrading of Mkolani– Mwatulole, Nyankumbu - Kivukoni, Nguzombili –Samandito Linking Emma – Mamakengele – Mwabasabi and Mwatulole – Mshinde Twiga Roads in Geita Town

In this project, the following tasks were successfully completed:

• Conducted design reviews on locations and sizes of structures based on available catchment information and site conditions.
• Designed external work layout levels and plans for drainage purposes.
• Supervised site works for all structures, including a one-storey office building.
• Prepared daily reports on contractor progress and implemented quality control measures.
• Organized and lead meetings with stakeholders to discuss construction plans, and ensure that community opinions are considered without compromising project quality. About 5 meetings were organized.
• Improved team productivity by providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers.
• Prepared action plans for problematic processes and assets.
• Wrote, reviewed and edited technical document in accordance with template requirements.
• Reviewed technical drawings developed by CAD technicians and drafters.

Project Name: Consultancy services for construction supervision of upgrading of Kabingo - Kasulu – Manyovu road (260.6km) to bitumen standard, Lot 4: Nduta Junction – Kibondo Junction – Kabingo road section(62.5Km)

In this project, the following tasks were successfully completed:

• Conducted design reviews on locations and sizes of structures based on available catchment information and site conditions.
• Supervised site works for all structures, including three slab beam bridges, one 40-meter span bridge, and two 20-meter span bridges.
• Prepared daily reports on contractor progress and implemented quality control measures.
• Provided cost-effective solutions to project challenges; for example, replaced stone pitching protection works with grass planting, resulting in lower costs, faster implementation, and environmentally friendly outcomes.
• Managed all structural-related correspondences between contractor and consultant.
• Identified potential hazards and recommended corrective actions, ensuring safer work environment for all employees.
• Maintained accurate records of all inspections performed, allowing for more informed decision making regarding maintenance schedules and resource allocation.
• Developed customized inspection checklists tailored to specific job sites, ensuring thorough evaluations.
• Trained other workers in inspection and testing procedures.

Project Name: The Provision of Construction Supervision Consultancy Services for Urban Infrastructure Development in Dodoma City

In this project, the following tasks were successfully completed:

• Conducted structural design and supervised the construction of Dodoma Central Market.
• Designed and inspected the construction of overall drainage plan for Nala lorry parking (about 10000 square meters).
• Reviewed designs and re-routed roads and drainage structures for Dodoma bus terminal and market access.
• Inspected the construction of road bed to final layer (AC 14) for 26 km of Dodoma Town roads.
• Inspected the construction of box culverts along Kikuyu Road and Ilazo-Ipagala Road.
• Oversaw the construction of gabions along the Swaswa storm water drain, about 6km long.
• Prepared monthly progress reports for 3 sub projects.
• Organized and executed site meetings as the acting Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Prepared cost breakdowns for various trade-offs.
• Developed rescoping plans to align with project budgets, including reducing parking space by 25% to reallocate funds for widening access roads to accommodate expected cargo trucks.
• Prepared drainage plans for Dodoma bus terminal.

Project Name: Proposed dormitory building to be built on block BB at Miyuji area Dodoma City Council

In this project, the following tasks were successfully completed:

• Redesigned two-story dormitory building to address over-design issues and enhance cost-efficiency.
• Achieved 40% reduction in frame construction costs through structural redesign.
• Prepared detailed structural drawings and design reports.
• Supervised construction to ensure adherence to revised design.
• Participated in design reviews within team-based structural planning committees.

Project Name: Upgrading of Mwigumbi – Maswa – Bariadi Lamadi road (171km) to Bitumen standard, Lot 1: Mwigumbi Maswa
Section (50.3) km

In this project, the following tasks were successfully completed:

• Inspected construction of 6 box culverts and 36 pipe culverts.
• Oversaw construction of approximately 8 km of roadside ditches.
• Supervised installation of 25 km of precast units, including Kerbstones, chutes, and pedestrian slabs.
• Prepared reports detailing findings of inspections, investigations, and tests.
