- Tree nursery established in area of one acre to raise various tree seedlings such as Eucalyptus tereticornis, Pterocarpus angolensis, Khaya anthotheca, Cedrela odorata, Tectona grandis, Gmelina arborea, lemon trees, Afzelia quanzensis, Acasia polycantha, Anacardium occidentale etc.
- A total of eight hundred thousand and seventy thousand (870000) tree seedlings raised and distributed to farmers, village government, schools, stake holders and other institutions in a period of 3-years.
- Supporting in restoration program to village forests and TFS forest reserves whereby a total of 57000 trees planted in patches and forest boundaries.
- Training for sustainable tree harvesting techniques conducted to 270 charcoal producers around 13 villages in Mkuranga district.
- A total of 52 tree farmers supervised to establish 310 acres for woodlots in a period of three years.
- Ten (10) farmers from 4 villages supervised to practice agroforestry farming system in area covered 45 acres.
- Supervising two beekeeping groups to practice modern bees farming by providing trainings, 10 beehives, two pair of bee’s suits, 2 smokers and 1 honey extractor machine.
- Supervised three entrepreneurship groups, providing capacity-building training and monitoring for two baking groups (improved charcoal/briquette oven beneficiaries) and one vegetable farming group (solar dryer technology beneficiaries).
- Five (5) groups for charcoal producers and charcoal sellers in 5 villages were supervised and supported in its formation by constitutions writing and registration.
- Preparation of Village Land Use Management Plan (VLUM) and Forest Management Plan (FMP) for three villages.
- Facilitated conservation seminars for community members, stakeholders, and government officers at village and district levels throughout the project duration.
- Throughout the three years for project implementation weekly, Monthly and activities reports prepared, submitted and presented successfully.
- All implemented project interventions were frequently monitored, to see the achievements, as well to notice the challenges to be solved.
- Implementing a 3-years project known as 'Integrated Sustainable Charcoal Value Chain Promotion Project' (ISU-CHAVPRO) funded by European Union (EU) for five districts in Pwani region.
