• To provide legal opinion to Government Institution in the Region
• To coordinate functions of the Office of Attorney General in the Regions;
• To corroborate with the Office of the Solicitor General in dealing civil matters in Region anticipated or pending in court to which Attorney General is a part.
• To prepare quarterly reports on duties performed by the Office of the Attorney General in the Region;
• To attend all statutory committees/meetings to which the Attorney General is part in the Region;
• To create public awareness on functions of the Attorney General post restructure order 2018 under the Government Notice No.48 of 2018;
• To provide guidance and conduct monitoring to all MDAs and LGAs for the purpose of ensuring high quality of legal services and other related matters on their daily performance of their office; and;
• To supervise staff in the region.

(a) Division of Coordination and Advisory Services (Section of Contact Negotiation and Management) (June’2024 to March’2025)

• Prepared legal Opinion and advise on various Contractual issues submitted to the OAG for advice.
• Attended and gave advice during Negotiation meetings which Government is Party to and which holds Nation interest.
• Attended Negotiation which Government is party to as regards to Contracts Implementation and Settlement of Contract disputes out of Court.
• Liased with Government Stakeholders in attending strategic Regional and International Meetings for serving interest of the Government.

(b) Division of Contract and Treaties (October,2023 to June,2024)

• Accomplished Vetting of various International Agreements, Procurement Contracts, Finance and Investment Agreements and MoU’s as received from various institutions.
• Prepared and provided legal opinion and legal advice to various Public Institutions on behalf of the Attorney General.
• Conducted Legal research on various issues as will be assigned.
• Attended on behalf of the AG all meetings assigned.

• Assisted the Company Secretary in coordination of matters relating to Board of Directors.
• Assisted the Company Secretary in coordination of matters relating to Management Meetings and decisions.
• Assisted Director of Legal Services in providing 5 legal opinion per day and advice to the Corporation,
• Represented the Corporation in Courts and quasi-judicial bodies and in negotiations with other stakeholders.
• Prepared, vet and reviewed of Contracts, Insurance Policies and MoU’s involving the Corporation.
• Safeguarded compliance of Laws and Regulations by the Corporation.

Assisted the Regional Administrative Secretary in legal matters through provision of legal advice, assistance and guidance to the Regional Secretariat and Local Government Authorities of Dodoma Region.

(a.) Conduct the vetting process of Agreements, Contracts, MoU's and Deed of Settlements submitted by Government Institutions and Ministries.
(b.) Conduct Negotiation of various Contracts and Treaties Which Government is the Party.
(c.) Providing legal advice/opinion to various State Government Ministries, Departments and Civilians who approach the Office of the Attorney General for opinion or advice on various including contracts, finance, taxation; and preparation of legal opinion where required.
(d.) To analyze and provide legal advice to the MDAs in negotiations, preparation and implementation of contracts relating to environment, water management and irrigation, fisheries and maritime issues, Finance, taxation, planning, Industry, commerce, oil, and Gases, Energy and Mineral laws.
(e.) To analyze and review and provide legal advice to the government on preparation, negotiation, ratification and implementation of regional and multilateral Treaties.
(f.) To analyze procurement contracts entered by MDAs and advise accordingly to ensure that value for money is achieved.
(g.) To provide professional, strategic advice and expertise to MDAs on matters pertaining to procurement contract.tracts and Treaties

• Participated in Litigation of cases for and against the Government
• Participated in Mediation and Arbitration of cases for and against the Government
• Prepared legal opinion and advice to the Government regarding various civil matters

• Provision of legal advice and opinion to Civilians and various State Government Ministries or Departments on matters related to the Constitution, Human Rights and Governance.
• Instituting of Constitutional and Human Rights Petitions filed in the High Court of Tanzania, African Court on Human and Peoples’ Right and the East Africa Court of Justice.
• Part of the Country’s Team which prepared Human Rights Report Submitted annually to the United Nations General Assembly and Preparation of Human Rights Action Plan which is being implemented in five years phase.

• Assisting the Director of Legal Affairs in advising the Commission on legal matters pertaining to Electoral process.
• Participated as electoral legal affairs administrator in both 2010 and 2015 General Elections and all By-Elections therein.
• Chief Coordinator and Manager of the Accreditation process and Accreditation Center in the 2015 General Election.
• Participated in the process of amending Electoral Laws, Regulations, Forms, code of ethics for Observers and those for Political Parties for the 2010 and 2015 General Election.
