  • I have been working as IT Officer in the department of Information Communication and Technology (ICT). My responsibilities are not limited to:
  • Provide up to second level support for production in a 24
  • 7 environment; Participate in running core ICT systems.
  • Participate in the closing of business (COB), EOM, and EOY in the core banking system (T24), Execution of backups of core banking system and other systems within the bank.
  • Provide first line support to users of various systems within the bank including the creation, maintenance and termination of user accounts on various systems, troubleshooting on hardware, software and network problems.
  • Process Helpdesk/service desk requests and allocated to the appropriate resources within the department or other Head Office Department as per Helpdesk /service desk policy.
  • Monitoring network, ATM and mobile internet banking make sure they operate according to the standard set.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the system
  • To provide reports to an agreed schedule (or on request), including credit, financial and service desk performance reports.
