Jeremiah Mushi is an Epidemiologist and Biostatistician. He has been working with the Ministry of Health for the past seven years in HIV programme (National AIDS control Program).He has substantial experience in Tanzania Health Management Information systems as well as PEPFAR monitoring systems for all HIV interventions. His admirable experience in HIV Monitoring and evaluation particularly on prevention interventions (VMMC, Prep, KVP, STI and PMTCT). Data management and analysis skills, HIV surveys coordination and HIV Research has massively contributed to the current National performance in ending the HIV epidemic. Currently Jeremiah is working with National AIDS control programme as the Monitoring and evaluation/HMIS and HIV Surveillance officer.
1. Survey Coordination:
· Led and coordinated various national surveys to assess the prevalence and impact of HIV/AIDS.
· Collaborated with cross-functional teams to design survey methodologies and ensure accurate data collection.
2. Data Management:
· Oversaw the development and implementation of robust data management systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting HIV-related data.
· Ensured data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
3. Monitoring and Evaluations:
· Designed and executed monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness.
· Analyzed program outcomes and recommended strategic adjustments for optimal impact.
4. Research Works:
· Conducted research on emerging trends in HIV/AIDS, contributing to evidence-based decision-making.
· Published findings in reputable journals and presented research outcomes at national and international conferences.
5. Health Information Systems Management:
· Managed and maintained health information systems to facilitate timely and accurate reporting.
· Implemented upgrades and improvements to enhance system efficiency.
6. Training and Capacity Building:
· Developed and delivered training programs for staff and partners on data collection methodologies, data analysis, and reporting.
· Conducted workshops to enhance the capacity of stakeholders in strategic information management.
7. Review of National Guidelines and Tools:
· Played a key role in the regular review and updating of national guidelines and tools related to HIV prevention, treatment, and care.
· Collaborated with experts and stakeholders to incorporate the latest research findings and best practices.

· Data collection in Household Malaria survey in Muheza District and Muleba Regions
· Analysis of malaria household level data for Muheza and Muleba Districts
