Jacques Allard

Born in Mombasa, Kenya. Raised in Zanzibar, Tanzania, where my love for the ocean was discovered. I have always been on boats for as long as I can remember. Finished my last two years of high school in South Africa as my first school in Zanzibar did not offer courses for tourism and business studies. In 2024 I was hired by EAYC to handle one of two chase boats that was used on a three week research charter to an unresearched island in the indian ocean called Latham Island.

I have been Kite Surfing for four years and am moderately skilled. Spearfishing was a hobie that I learnt from my father Eric Allard as he operates a company that takes clients spearfishing. Scuba Diving is something I have been doing for eight years and is something I try do when ever i get the chance, I am an advanced open water and am in the process of becoming a dive instructor.
