I have experience and interest in supporting impact programs with large and long-term funding in Tanzania. With 7 years of work experience in different sectors, I have 4 years of exposure in a program grants management environment which harnessed my capabilities in innovation to enhance economic development in vulnerable societies with a proven record of project management, stakeholder management, and successful reporting.
I have always wanted to be part of a sports team, however, I never had a chance from the schools I attended. In 2017, I decided to learn tennis to have something to do out of work that was both fun and healthy. It has helped me with attention, especially after having kids, now I truly see the benefits of tennis as a healthy hobby.
Traveling exposes me to different environments, not much traveled out of the country, but visiting calm places gives me some time to reflect on where I am and where I see myself in the near future.
I have always enjoyed literature as it was a way for me to read and find how storybooks could portray so many life lessons. This made me enjoy writing poems as a way to minimize the extent of the harsh realities of life. Also as a way to pour out my ideas even when nobody reads, it is almost an outlet of ideas.
