I am currently seeking a new position where my widespread experience will be further developed and utilized.

I am a dynamic, multilingual individual with a wealth of experience in the container shipping industry as a highly effective and competent Manager and team player. I am accustomed to performing in high pressure work environments, having successfully completed numerous assignments under strict time deadlines in senior managerial roles at Maersk Tanzania Limited (now rebranded as Nyota Tanzania Limited) for a period spanning a decade and at Times Radio FM Ltd for a period of four years. During my tenure I worked closely with the Operations, Finance, Programs and creative departments and interacted with the main players in order to gain understanding of the intricacies which affected our service delivery; the knowledge gained allowed me to manage clients’ expectations and deliver what was promised within a realistic timeframe. I was then enabled to improve customer service and sales through client feedback and complaint resolution, and generated repeat business through successful client follow-up. I am willing to learn and enjoy work that is challenging, stimulating and allows me to take ownership. I also enjoy working for a good cause.   • Awarded the Outstanding Customer Service Functional Award in 1998 for providing the best customer Experience for the Clientele Base in Portugal, whilst working for BDP International Inc in the USA, Philadelphia, from 1997 to 2000.

  • I passionately organized swimming Clinics for swimmers and coaches with Penny Heyns (South African Olympian Medalist) and Hamilton Aquatics Academy (the no 1 Academy in the United Arab Emirates) in 2015 and 2016.
