REGIONAL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

Provided technical support to six Community partners with 49 technical staff and ensured full engagement of stakeholders in the implementation and monitoring of project activities.

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the community department, including supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training the community services team to ensure they have the requisite skills to meet community deliverables.
  • Collaborated with in-country partners in designing, implementing, and monitoring a strategic plan for the expansion of HIV community-focused services in the Southern Highlands in line with the Tanzania Government bodies, MoH, and PORALG directives.
  • Represented the HJFMRI Tanzania in the RHMT and CHMT and advocated for a gradual inclusion of HIV Program activities in the council plans.
  • Reviewed partner's programmatic and financial reports, provide feedback and timely submit to the Program Director

  • In close collaboration with sub-grantees, provide quarterly support-supervision mentoring visits to the field to ensure activities adhere to guidance and SOPs and high-quality services are reaching targeted adolescents.

Prepared project SOP based on how to engage stakeholders in the implementation of community activities also supervised two Youth officers, and managed 52 national volunteers in 5 Regions with 4 community partners.

  • Supported 4 CSOs implementing projects on youth engagement at all levels of project planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provided technical support to project partners (CSOs, LGAs, NPEs, and CPEs) on teen School club establishment and delivered SRH curricular and livelihood sessions.
