National Liaison Assistant

1. Assisting National Liaison Officer on matters relating to the IAEA, in particular the technical cooperation programme.

2. Ensures that the benefits of potential nuclear applications are known and understood by relevant sectoral units of government, the national planning entity, universities and scientific institutions, and end users

3. Assist NLO in taking a leading role in aligning the CPF to national Millennium development goals and UNDAF targets and ensure newly identified projects initiative are consistence with CPF

4. Assist NLO in the interface between the government and the Secretariat in all matters related to planning, programming, programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the TC programme

5.Interacts with project counterpart institutions in the formulation, design, facilitation and management of projects, using the Programme Cycle Management Framework (PCMF) platform

1. Assisting NFP in the implementation and coordination of the European Union’s Centers of Excellence on Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Risk Mitigation (CBRN CoE) initiative at the country level.

Projects Namely:

  • Project 60: Support to The Centre of Excellence of Eastern and Central Africa in Nuclear Security.
  • Project 66: MEDISAFE Combating falsified medicines in Eastern and Central Africa.
  • Project 99: Strengthening Biosafety and Biosecurity capabilities in East and Central Africa.


2. To coordinating CBRN National Team on development of Tanzania National Action Plan of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Material and agents that could potentially harm the society through their accidental or deliberate release, dissemination, or impacts, I have been seeking opportunities to elevate my experience in the field of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear sector
