Total work force for manufacturing is 140 permanent head and 200 contracted heads which support on manual activities line palletizing and depalletizing

  • Supervised production team, keeping production schedules on track to meet tight deadlines.

Tanzania operation is under Tanzania Breweries Limited with 4 clear beer sites Dar (1676 K hl), Arusha (904 K hl), Mwanza (930 K hl) and Mbeya (841 K hl, one Winery & spirit plant doing famous product called Konyagi (156 K hl). Uganda Operation has 2 plants under Nile Breweries Limited which are Jinja (1623 K hl) and Mbarara (883 K hl), annual production volume of 7 million hectoliters a year. Head office is in Dar Es Salaam. Total head count for supply east Africa is 850 permanently employed.

Key accomplishment.

  • Ensuring all regulatory compliances of all 7 plants are aligned to both country legal requirement and business goals on Safety, Quality and Environment. Motivated for fund in rehabilitation of River Rwizi in Mbarara a water stressed plant, participated with the region in planting 2500 trees along the riverbanks on World Environmental day 2019.
  • Developed strategic plans for business growth, enabling the company to expand its market share and increase revenue. Led expansions of Mbeya Brewery 5x2800 hl tanks installation to meet 900K hl annually, Expansion of Mbarara Brewing capacity to deliver 1200K hl and capacity upgrade of Jinja Brewery in 2019
