Responsibilities

• Supervise routine inspections of water supply infrastructure for uninterrupted service delivery.
• Monitor water supply systems and equipment to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Conduct periodic inspections of water networks, identify challenges, and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze operational data on leaks, pipeline failures, breakdowns, and repairs for timely maintenance decisions.
• Assess distribution system performance and condition, recommending technical improvements to reduce water losses.
• Prepare technical and operational reports on water performance, maintenance, and system status for management review.
• Coordinate and supervise implementation of water operation and maintenance tasks with technical teams.
• Plan and supervise water rationing schedules during limited availability to support equitable distribution.
• Respond to customer service requests and coordinate with technical teams to resolve complaints efficiently.
• Perform other engineering and operational duties assigned by management to support organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer meters and compile meter reports for billing records.
• Follow up to resolve issues identified on discrepancy reports promptly.
• Verify meter readings before starting each billing run.
• Report leaks and update repair status.
• Disconnect customers holding outstanding balances following approved procedures.
• Distribute demand notices to customers in arrears within set timescales.
• Read meters accurately to prevent billing errors.
• Reconnect customers within 24 hours after receiving payment.
• Submit copies of disconnection notices to required internal records.
• Verify water use and report abnormal consumption for investigation.
