Working Achievements

At Bayport

  • In April 2024, I engineered the relaunch of the Nipeboost system (a mobile lending system) where registered clients can borrow loans and repay through their mobile phones. By Dec 2025, Nipeboost had 24K with complete registration,disbursed loans worth 11b and with collection efficiency of 85%
  • In 2023, I engineered the launch USSD loan origination (a self-origination) channel which reduced the commission cost of refinance loans from 10% to 2%
  • By 2020, the loan origination process at Bayport started to be paperless. I was among pioneers of digitization process and still in-country support of digital systems
  • In 2014-2018-I oversaw the technical and commercial aspects of Nipeboost and managed a team of 20 staffs (sales,admin and customercare agent)
  • In 2014 -2018, I engineered the designing, developing, and launching of Nipeboost(a mobile lending system) and managed to register over 23,000 client who borrowed loans worth TZS 5b,while the total repayment amount was TZS 8b

At Vodacom

  • A team member on MPAWA project-where users save small amount money through Mpesa and get small loans
  • Managed a project of migrating 90 organization using from Pay net to BI
  • Acquired and managed over 100 organizations using M-Pesa for collection and disbursing funds.
