  • Reporting directly to Regional fleet and RM manager, assist him to oversee all RM-related issues in all 7 lodges in Tanzania.
  • Assist in developing sourcing plans by researching new products such as new power backup technology, new game drive vehicle designs, vehicle spare parts, new kitchen equipment, Laundry equipment, generators, workshop tools and equipment, solar products, and other power sources to mention a few.
  • Create reports on supplier performance metrics such as quality, delivery times, and cost savings initiatives while considering environmental conservation policy.
  • Maintain records of all purchases including item descriptions, costs, quantities received. Using Panstrat and available excel sheets.
  • Implement strategies for streamlining procurement processes resulting in improved efficiency and cost savings trough collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet lodges requirements and demands. We have team in Kenya , South Africa and other regions.
  • Reviewed purchase orders, contracts and invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of reserve sensitive items/machines such as borehole pumps and others pumps, radio communication equipments,generators parts which may need replacement at any point and the likes.
  • Oversee any issue related to RM and fleet reported by lodge mangers
  • Pricing, include sourcing new suppliers for spare parts and building materials,generators laundry and kitchen machines/equipment.
  • Prepare lodge order sheet periodic price review /update monitoring and control the usage of the ordersheet. Ensuring that all lodge managers and administrators are fully using the ordersheet and that the ordersheet is useful and reliable tool to control our budget.
  • Assist on all fleet duties, this includes quality control for all company vehicles and schedules based on specific lodge or department standard. Monitoring fuel consuption for each vehicles by reviewing all fleet stats reports from lodges and departments.
  • Supervise office based vehicle and generator refueling, servicing and maintenance.
  • Ensured compliance with government regulations regarding purchasing activities. and other policy like vehicle and radio licenses, building permit, fire and safety equipment maintenance and training, periodic borehole water testing and others.
  • Developed relationships with vendors to secure better prices and payment terms.
  • Draft requests for quotes from vendors for comparison shopping purposes and CAPEX preparations.
  • Resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders and actual receipts of goods or services, liaise with accounting and vendors to minimize and clear up invoice discrepancies.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and conferences to stay abreast of current trends in product development.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor data to identify opportunities for cost savings during CAPEX preparations.
