- Preparation of detailed design, technical specifications, bill of quantities and technical part of the bidding documents for OHLs and connection to the substations using PLS-CADD.
- Evaluation of technical, financial and Cost estimate proposals and recommendation to award.
- Attend construction phase kick off meeting, site progress meetings with consultant’s site team, Client and contractor to review progress and resolve problems.
- Review, approve and monitor the detailed implementation, supply and installation schedules prepared by the Contractor. Review and approve contractor detailed schedule updates
- Review and recommend actions where necessary on the construction method statement submitted by the contractor.
- Review and approval of contractor’s quality program and monitor adherence thereto.
- Review and approve of contractor’s submittals (design submittals, shop drawings, FAT plans and procedures, SAT and commissioning plans and procedures…etc.).
- Supervision of contractor OHLs route topographic survey and drilling of boreholes for soil investigation.
- Supervision of OHLs civil and erection works.
- Supervise OHLs connection to substations works.
- Supervision of OPGW end-to-end test.
- Draw the Project Manager attention to any event having any cost or time impact.
