Erick brings valuable multi-sector work experience spanning over 20+ years in HR management and practice, drawn from previous employment and consulting work where he held various roles with increasing responsibility; at Coca Cola Kwanza he worked as an HR Manager with full responsibility of HR function of the Coca Cola Plant in Mbeya before being assigned to a newly created role -Country L&D Manager, at Stanbic Bank he worked as an Internal HR with special focus on people development. He later joined Stanbic Bank as an In-house Consultant responsible for Talent Acquisition, Labour Relations, Performance management, and compensation and benefits; working closely with the Head of HR. He was later promoted to the Head of HR with overall responsibility for the HR function for the Bank. At Puma Energy he worked as the Country HR Manager responsible for overall management of HR function, playing a leading role in the change and transformation process to embed the then BP Tanzania into the new Puma Energy Group; led key organizational integration processes including policy and practices harmonization, trade union negotiations, successfully aligning local and Puma Group policies and practices. He later joined GSM Group working as the Group Head of HR mainly focused on the establishment of best practices in support of the of the Company’s ambition to build standard corporate practices. His last assignment, before fully embarking on a full-time consulting role at EPIC BR, he worked for Mbeya Cement/LafargeHolcim Tanzania as the Organization and HR Director responsible for the overall management of HR function, playing a key role in the change and transformation efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency handling the People Side of Business Turnaround Agenda. As part of Consultancy work at EPIC BR Ltd, where he is a founder and consultant, Erick facilitates the development and implementation of HR solutions including developing and delivering training in various topics including Leadership & Management, Performance Management, Sales and Customer Care, to mention a few. Over the years, Erick has successfully worked with business leaders, Management teams, trade unions, employees and other stakeholders to drive the HR Agenda and people strategy in line with overall business strategy covering Talent acquisition and Development, Compensation and benefits, performance management, labour relations and HR projects management, etc through effective leadership and management strategies, interpersonal and personal skills, creating an environment conducive for harnessing the value of team work, collaboration and diversity.
