Began my humanitarian career as a Protection Assistant during the emergency response to the Burundian refugee influx, supporting frontline protection efforts and conducting Age, Gender, and Diversity Mainstreaming (AGDM) sessions to ensure inclusive service delivery. I played a key role in reception and refugee hearing duties, offering case-specific counseling and resolving numerous individual protection concerns. Over time, I transitioned into the Solutions Unit, where I contributed to the implementation of the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework (CRRF) and worked on resettlement and complementary pathways. This progression deepened my experience in both emergency protection and long-term durable solutions, while reinforcing my commitment to refugee-centered programming.
