Work as District Occupational Health and Safety Officer and Head of Department of Occupational Health and Safety and Overseer of Occupational Health and Safety Issues at Large Infrastructure Companies and Manufacturing Industries and at all Seismic and Gas Exploration and Production Projects under T.P.D.C and under Private Companies which are within the District Council. Among others the following are the do's:

• Inspected facilities for adherence to fire, hazard and safety guidelines.
• Responded to any emergencies as instructed and with utmost efficiency.
• Conducted safety audits and investigated plant quality issues.
• Inspected worksites, practices and gear for compliance with established safety standards.
• Designed programs, policies, and procedures that were implemented to reduce or eliminate workplace injuries and hazards.

• Oversaw continual improvement of project health and safety programs, systems and processes to meet or exceed company and project objectives through safe practices.
• Promoted public health through surveillance of disease trends, food safety practices and sanitation levels in public and food service facilities.
• Monitored performance of safety activities in other work centers covered by task order and provided remedial training as necessary to responsible personnel at other locations.
• Disposed and managed waste products.
• Prepared, reviewed and updated environmental and safety investigation reports for Dangote Cement Ltd, Lulu Cement Xinghao Mtwara, Yalin Cashewnut Processing Ltd, DP Shaprya Stone Crushing Ltd, T.P.D.C-Madimba Gas Plant, Maurel and Promo Gas Production Ltd, AGS Gas Exploration and Production Ltd.
• Conducted hazardous waste management studies.

• Complied with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations and reported all unsafe practices.
• Commenced enforcement action through improvement notices, prohibition orders, penalty notices or prosecutions.
• Measured and controlled pollution from commercial and industrial sources and investigated cases of serious infectious diseases.
• Compiled reports and provided training courses.
• Collected water samples from semi-processed, processed and raw water.
• Determined chemical composition and nature of land pollutants by analyzing and collecting soil.
