I have been able to conduct research and present in big forums, including PAFLAR and CUGH. I have also been able to publish my thesis dissertation study protocol. I am currently a leading PI at the Tanzanian site for the Global Retinoblastoma study

Experiences

Leadership Experience: During my undergraduate training, I held several leadership roles, including positions within the Tanzania Medical Students' Association. These experiences allowed me to develop strong organizational, teamwork, and decision-making skills while actively contributing to student advocacy, academic initiatives, and professional development programs. 

Research Experience: I have been actively involved in several research projects, including as a member of the Tanzanian Pediatric Cancer Network, where I contributed to a comprehensive evaluation of pediatric cancers in Tanzania. Currently, I am serving as the Principal Investigator for the Tanzania site in the Global Retinoblastoma Study. Additionally, I have conducted and presented research on pediatric rheumatology at the PAFLAR Congress. 

Clinical Experience: I have worked as a medical doctor in the pediatric department, specifically in the pediatric hematology-oncology unit, for about a year before I went for my residency, and returned to continue working as a pediatrician from 2024 to current. I attend to all children, but I specifically work at the pediatric hematology oncology unit. I have also been involved in mentoring junior staff in lower health facilities within Moshi municipality and several other facilities in the country through special programs organized by the Ministry of Health.
