Summary

My doctoral research looked at communication in Maasai society. I pursued his primary and secondary education in schools located in Maasai community. I also worked with Support for International Change as a peer educator in Maasai community. I continue working in the field of language education, including teaching English as a second language and integrating language supportive approaches to teaching subject content and the language of teaching and learning. I am currently engaged in three projects: Evaluating language supportive approaches to transition at scale, funded by the British Council and Networking for additive multilingual education in Sub-Saharan Africa and Understanding understanding - Supporting understanding in the classroom through the understanding of curricula structures both funded by the Swedish Research Council.
