  • Roles and Resposnibilities:
  • Stabilise financial performance by achieving breakeven as per pre-determined duration on yearly basis; through mobile banking settlements, agency banking settlement, base II file processing and Settlement file processing-(Physical and Virtual cards), Identifying and processing unsuccessful transactions in base II and posting in FCC accordingly, daily processing of card transactions and TIPS settlements
  • Maintain compliance with Governance provisions and enhance internal controls to minimise operational risk through; day 2 check of Base II entries in FCC, day 2 check for settlement Physical cards processed yesterday in FCC and report any abnomality for corrections, day 2 adjustments checks, checking reconcilable accounts, monthly-Posting mobile banking TRA invoice, proper maintaining and updating both debit ,prepaid cards and key registers; making sure surprise check is done by independent personnel/non custodian, resolve audit issues timely as they emerge from various audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and that identified key internal governance gaps are closed by year end, making sure NPS report is sent every month, making sure Monthly Levy report report is sent every month, monthly BOT mobile transactions report, making sure prepaid card deposit report is sent to key stake holders, checking and ensuring all Flexcube suspense accounts for all branches have cleared card fee and reconciled daily
  • Improve and strengthen Operating platform by ensuring that; base II update report sent, day 2 check for settlement Virtual cards processed yesterday in FCC and report any abnomality for corrections, systems status report, monthly card report shared with business people(Digital and Fintech) for contacting customers whose cards are about to expire, doing daily debit cards reconciliation and any fault discovered is reported to responsible stake holder, all cards are delivered within TAT, optimisation processes and customer service improves Bank's operations efficiency and clients direct experience
  • Enhance Customer experience and retention, by making sure that; CRM issues checked and attended, Agency and Mobile banking reversals are timely executed, TIPS reversals is done, all adjustments are done as per approval, Manua, l release done in Prepaid wallet, Manual release blocked balance is done in FCC, TIPS and mobile banking Float management and, efficiency and service delivery are improved
  • Drive high performance culture and employee engagement, this is achieved by; Attending meetings and training when needs arise, ing stake holder's communications, Embeding high Performance culture and reliablility, Increasing engagement with other staff and stake holders to improve morale and efficiency in achieving desired goals, Training and motivating teams to achieve desired objectives, Adhering to good conducts, proper moral and professionalism in daily practices.
