Under the direct line management of the GBV Team Leader, the GBV Protection Officer is responsible for the provision of case management and psychosocial support to survivors of gender-based violence, particularly women and girls.
Accomplishing to deliver in compliance with GBV International SOPs in GBV response, case management services, including direct psychosocial support, for more than 400 survivors of gender-based violence as per project annual targets, particularly women and girls and other vulnerable groups.
Tracking all GBV data practicing their timely filling and storage in the gender-based violence information management system (GBVIMS+) in compliance with the information sharing protocol developed at the inter-agency level.
Partnering with the child protection unit when GBV cases involve child survivors, particularly when assessing the best interest of the child (BID &BIA).
