  • ·Supported the development, adoption and domestication of EAC harmonized instruments including Food and Nutrition Security Strategy and Action Plan, EAC Aflatoxin prevention and control strategy, agro-related standards, EAC CAADP Regional Agriculture Investment Plan, EAC Sanitary and Phytosanitary Bill, harmonized procedures for conducting Pest Risk Analysis to reduce trade-related phytosanitary barriers, EAC Seed and Plant Varieties Bill and guidelines for testing and registration of conventional pesticides and biopesticides.
