  • Heading port operations and shipping for humanitarian food and nonfood items which involve coordinating with external partners including shipping lines, Tanzania Revenue Authority, port Authority, Ministries, and other government agencies in making sure cargo arriving is cleared on time
  • Managed to reduce storage, container demurrage charges by more than80% through proper tracking and follow up of operations
  • Supervision of bulk vessel discharging, bagging, full container loads, loose cargo, abnormal loads as well as projects cargo
  • Coordinating in country and landlocked countries(corridor) in making sure correct and timely call forwards are received and food is dispatched timely to avoid pipeline breaks and throughout my leadership there has never been food shortage during distribution
  • Managed contracting unit through which all Logistics contracts were timely prepared and shared, no job executed with an expired contract, all quarterly contacting reports were shared to Regional Bureau timely as a result the Logistics vendors were streamlined and the unit was able to work with reliable service providers throughout the operations
  • Participated in Logistics capacity assessment in Lindi and Mtwara as a team leader through which the useful report was timely prepared and shared to facilitate logistics activities in case of any e,emergency in the two regions.
  • Involved in capacity building for Government and Non-Government agencies including successfully co-chairing Logistics pillar meeting with government and other implementing partners through which we initiated an E-LMIS system for proper tracking of COVID19 essential commodities and revamped the pillar which became one among the most active pillars in the Emergency Preparedness and Response committee.
  • Provided a workable and permanent solution to trucks which were loading humanitarian food through Namanga border, a solution which is used to date, and all border clearance are ongoing smoothly
  • Involved in multimodal operations through rail, lake rail from Dar port to Kampala as well as initial preparations for Cold chain project aiming at reducing post harvest loss and linking small holder farmers producing horticulture with the market in Dar Es Salaam and Dodoma.

Singing,Traveling,Hiking

Through the singing talent I participated and won a Miss University crown in 2008 and I enjoy singing even when I am overwhelmed.

I love nature and hiking,have been able to hike Table Mountains in South Africa,Mount Kilimanjaro up to Uhuru peak in Tanzania and small hills like Mount Udzungwa in Morogoro,Mount Rungwe in Mbeya, Pugu Hills in Dar Es Salaam,Magambo Forest in Tanga.I am looking forward to hike at Mount Everest

Have been travelling within my country Tanzania where I have been to all the national parks,conservation areas and islands including Serengeti,Ngorongoro,Kitulo, Manyara,Zanzibar and Mauritius and I am looking forward to travel the world with my family.
