• Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) licensed Flight Operations Officer in control of flights within jurisdiction and supervision of all flight operations in daily shifts.

• Plan load in accordance accordance with accurate calculations of aircraft center of gravity and specific flight requirements.
• Determined quantity and orientation of cargo and computed aircraft's center of gravity. Calculated and transmitted estimated zero fuel weight (EZFW) figures to dispatch.
• Determined appropriate number of ULD (Unit Load Device) containers for the aircraft. Verified aircraft operated within predetermined operational limits relating to weight and balance. To ensure safety and security standards as well as to ensure the load limits and distribution plans follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure the aircraft is loaded as per loading instruction and per standard of a respectively airline Licensed load control for both manual and system weight and balance CLC (Centralised Load Controller) with Emirates, AirTanzania, Air Zimbabwe, Airlink, Oman Air, Turkish Airlines and Kenya Airways,Ethiopian Airlines,Qatar Airways,Malawian Airlines and Egypt Air
• Monitor the performance of the Departure Control System in relation to flight management systems such as AMADEUS, CRANE, MACS, and ALTEA.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth handling of passengers and dead load weight and balance to avoid delay situations.
• Plan, coordinate and produce all loading weight and balance ensuring security items, rush/unattended bags are loaded and documented correctly.
• Complying to the safe distribution of load within prescribed aircraft limitations of AHM (Aircraft Handling Manual) or Company Operation manuals within the SOP’s(Standard Operating Procedures).
• Timely sending of Movement messages both arrival and departure including Load Messages(LDM), Special Information(SI), Container Pallet Message(CPM), SLS and any other vital information to the relevant outstations.
• Apply segregation requirements, compatibility checks and loading regulations and restrictions for special loads such as live animals or DGR loads complying IATA DGR Manual within the customer airline requirements.

- Load Planner within the safe weight limitations of deadloads and generating LIR(Load Instruction Report) depending on the compartmental cargo and bulk holds of particular aircraft type equipment such as Airbus 220-300, Dash 8-Q400, Boeing 737-9, Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, and several others.

- Advise and coordinate with PIC incase of changes on fuel figures or request made on extra block fuel or any changes on DOW before presenting Load sheet to the PIC.

- Advanced Knowledge on aircraft handling and safety matter with compliance of SOP’s (Swissport Operation Procedures).

- Conversant on Radio Telephone communications.

• Coordinate, giving support where appropriate, and direct operational activities to achieve On-Time Performance (OTP).
• Manage any disruptions for quick turnaround actions regardless any delay of aircraft.
• Ensure that processes are delivered within SLA standards of performance and compliance limits.
• Act as a safety coordinator ensuring fire cover if needed, responsible for overseeing safe and secure operation such as offloading and loading sequence procedures including boarding and deboarding of an aircraft.
• Supervise all department units acting as a link from the load control unit, departure unit on passenger handling and ramp team ensuring deadloads are loaded as LIR.
• Coordinate the flight deck crew with the Load Control Unit on the final fuel figures, final flight plan from the final AZFW, and the working ACARS for the final load sheet.
• Presentation of Final Load sheet with any final LMC amendments made to the Captain.
• Compliance with baggage reconciliation and Triple-A requirements.
• Co-ordinating and recording the safe and timely delivery of all services to the aircraft at the request of the crew or engineers.
• Secure safe coordination of the pushback on departure and ensure ramp area is checked for FOD before aircraft arrival.

• Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits.
• Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.
• Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations.
