Successfully managing overall accounts & financial responsibilities for overseeing an organization's accounts operation, ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining regulatory compliance and leading a team of accounts., Core Daily Operational Task: Leading the accounting staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring daily financial transactions are recorded accurately in the general ledger. Managing daily cash inflows and outflows, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring that bank balances match internal records. Overseeing invoice processing, vendor payments, and client billing., Accounts Maintenance: Overseeing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor's reconciliation, bank reconciliation, stock reconciliation and general ledger maintenance. Handling statutory compliances, including VAT, Excise duty, WHT, as well as conducting audits (Internal/External)., Financial Reporting & Closing: Consolidating financial information and Directing month-end and year-end close processes, preparing cost sheet, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow analysis., Strategic & Leadership Duty: Developing and improving internal controls and accounting standards (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Mentoring, training, and evaluating accounting staff to build capacity.
