  • Company Overview: Oil pipeline from Lake Albertine (Uganda) to Tanga Port (Tanzania)
  • Oversee delivery of all key components (EPcmC, SMP, Civil, Pipeline and E&I packages) of the EACOP pipeline
  • Pipeline consists of 1543 kilometers of 24” steel pipeline, 86 main line blocking valves, 21 heat tracing stations, HV cable in trefoil installation, Fiber Optic Cable and 6 pumping stations and 2 pressure reducing stations
  • Civil component is all foundations and earthworks for the above structures, E&I packages and the earthworks for the pipeline right of way
  • Develop a range of relevant project management plans, reports and related document control including for Quality Management plans, EH&S Management plans, Social Management plans and regular progress reports
  • Manages a range of project related administration including completing periodical reconciliations and budget reports to be presented to senior management
  • Maintains constant communications for all stakeholders including across regular Progress Update and Toolbox Safety meetings

  • The pipeline route traverses through numerous active Dairy farms meaning extensive negotiations were required to ensure this could happen in as seamless a manner as possible

  • Ran first three projects above simultaneously across combined total of kilometres is 402 Km’s with all three projects completed by the 16 March 2014 using a manning total of 450 workers
  • The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline route crossed +/- 2.5Km’s of marine mud pans which was achieved with HDD, divided in 4 separate HDD crossings
  • The RTIO Pipeline project ran from the Turee Creek off take station to the West Angelas mine site
  • The terrain was extremely difficult to traverse, is some locations along the pipeline route the incline and decline were at approximately 25
  • The project included the construction of a metering station at the off take valve, mainline valve and an inlet station prior to the Power Station
  • The project was completed 29 days ahead of schedule and was completed within budget, quality obligations under the contract
  • There was no Lost Time Injury or Medical Treatment Injury recorded on the project and the client was very happy with the results achieved
