I am a highly motivated 15-year-old studying at the International School of Zanzibar following the Cambridge international curriculum. In the last few years, I have involved myself in leadership roles which have miraculously aided me to help the community in Zanzibar through projects that have stemmed from Girl Up and the Masks4All initiative. Personally, I am proud to wear the third culture kid label; as a result, my life experiences are augmented by places, people and precepts that many young people never get to embrace. My TCK status gravitates me to want to discover other cultures and conventions and enables me to collaborate with other citizens of the world with zeal and empathy.
