Summary

I am a medical doctor and Public Health Specialist with 5 years experience in project and programs management acquired through working with government institutions, donor agencies, local and international NGOs. I have proven knowledge in Project cycle and has contributed to design, implementation and scaling of donor funded programs with an active role in the grant management, resource mobilization, National level policy and guidelines review, National tools development, partnership and stakeholders management, training facilitation and communication. I have worked in a projects related to pediatric HIV and PMTCT field through PEPFAR funding (FASTER project) and Primary/Community health System strengthening through UNICEF funding. I have great experience in working with above site programs as well as field level programs with vast experience in managing complex projects within limited timelines. I have had great exposure to managerial roles leading a team of about 12 staff and being part of the Senior management team of the country program.

I am currently is coordinating a field office and supporting the country program donor engagement activities as the focal person. I am also looking into opportunities for pursuing my PHD in maternal Health focusing.

  • Ensure high-quality project implementation, management, and compliance with programmatic standards, policies and procedures through project review systems and quality control (comprehensive M&E systems, budget review and analysis). Promote documentation of program reviews, success stories, and lessons learned.
