VOLUNTEER AS AN ASSOCIATE CHAPLAIN

- Plan and lead worship services, including integration of the music and youth programs
- Organize and implement youth programs that will enhance the growth of the youth ministry in the church especially Bible studies, Christian Education Programs, praise and worship team practices, Intercessory prayers, mission team as well as worship experiences in the campus
- Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through weekly worship and Bible study, equip and motivate the congregation to reach out with the Good News to all in the community
- Reach out with pastoral care to the whole church community, especially those who are sick, homebound, or in crisis
- Provide oversight of church administration, working with the church council and administrative staff to further the mission of the church
- Clearly communicate about the events of the church verbally and in writing
- Planning and organizing for charity programs through the hands of compassion team from the university to reach out to the community through charity services
- Organizing and scheduling guidance and counseling sessions for both the students and the members of community through the guidance of the Lead pastor.

- Began an independent youth service for all the youths running parallel to the main service for the adults
- Came up with well thought and biblically sound doctrines that were directly addressing the issues facing the youths today
- Gradual growth of the youths in the church both qualitatively and quantitatively
- Managed targeted ministries both teens and college-aged young adults, including fellowship, Bible study, counseling sessions as well as mission outreach
- Recruited, trained, and supported youth leaders to assist in the implementation of all youth programs in the church
- Integrated youths, specifically teens and college-aged young people, into the ongoing ministries of the church including the charity programs to the neighboring estates
- Provided encouragement and spiritual empowerment to the youth while upholding high integrity standards and spiritual discipline.

- Working closely with the Guidance and Counseling office to facilitate the required Spiritual and emotional support to both the students and the staff
- Spiritual growth through evangelism, organizing for worship nights, seminars as well as small group bible study sessions for both students and staff
- Provided leadership for all different cell groups within the campus, chapel programming in the university, including special events and weekly Bible study and worship meetings
- Came up with more engaging fellowship groups for evangelism purposes like the hands of Compassion, the intercessory prayer group as well as the ministry outreach fellowship group
- Initiated for the very first time the university football club that grew from plying in a local competition to now playing at the Machakos county league level
- Up-to-date I am still the team manager of the soccer team which has played a major role in marketing the University as well as acting as a platform to evangelize to the young boys in and outside the university.
